Udaipur has great importance in Indian History. Forts and lakes are second name of our city.
Every structure and place tells it’s own a story of glory and epicness. But you know, there’s
another enthusiastic place which every youth of our city should visit. Its none other than Haldighati.
HALDIGHATI has it`s own important in India history which is renowned in the World. HALDI, which is
Turmeric in English, represents the yellow colour of the soil. It was a battleground which evidence many
historical wars and events. But the arena is famous for the epic battle fought between the Rajputs and the
Mugal empire. The great Maharana Pratap of Mewar showed his outstanding power and devotion for mother land.
Mughal forces greatly outnumbered Pratap’s men and then also the battle had equal result. Maharana also lost his faithful horse Chetak. The giant black horse was bleeding heavily and he collapsed after jumping over a small brook few kilometres away from the battle field.
It is important place for youth because it show integrity and liberty of the country, every youth of our city should visit this place. It motivates you by the stories which inspire million of people. The Ghati is also having a famous statue of chetak and museum which shows the history of the great battle. It is an
attraction for tourist from all over the world which praise the India.
